What is the Paleolithic Diet?
It is a secret that is over 2 million years old, and is shared by over
84 tribes of hunter-gatherers in the world.  It has been referred
to as the diet from the "Garden of Eden".
 This diet is not designed
by doctors, nutritionists, or other individuals, it was designed by
none other than "Mother Nature" herself.  It is based on extensive
research that examined the foods our ancestors ate, both in quantities
and types.  This is not a fad diet, nor a diet in which one restricts their
caloric intake, rather it is a nutritional plan in which you gain health
while also losing weight.

What foods do you need to eat?
Fresh fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and seafood, which are high in
the beneficial nutrients, such as soluble fiber, phytochemicals,
omega-3, antioxidant vitamins, monounsaturated fats, and
l ow-glycemic carbohydrates that promote good health. Foods that
contain refined sugars and grains, saturated and transfats, salt,
high-glycemic carbohydrates, and processed foods often are the cause
of weight gain, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and various other
health problems.  Dairy and grain products are better replaced by
fresh fruits and vegetables, which are much more nutritious than
the dairy and whole grain products.  

How long will it take until you see any results?
Significant results can be seen in as little as a few weeks.  Once
sugars, dairy, and processed foods are eliminated from the diet the
body begins to do what it was meant to do, keeping you lean and
healthy.

What can I do if I think I have food allergies?
If you think you might have food allergies, which most of us do have
to some degree, starting off with an elimination diet prior would be
advisable.  I would suggest that everyone try this at one time in their
life. For example, many people have gluten sensitivities,which can
cause many physiological issues, distress, and weight gain and
weight loss resistance.
